Peace! June has come and gone, but it is not too late to share some pictures from a month full of blessings . . . we are grateful to our friends from Northwestern Medicine, Loyola Medical School, and Presence Healthcare who co-sponsored an amazing health fair at the June mobile food pantry. These medical providers were joined by local community organizations, such as West Humboldt Park Development Council and Catholic Charities, to provide health screenings, answer health questions, and provide health resources to our neighbors. Later in the month, we hosted our first block party of the summer, serving up 100s of hot dogs and gourmet deserts donated to us by our generous benefactors! Enjoy the pictures, and stay tuned for more summer updates!
